The Client Our client are one of the worlds leading media companies and no 1 in their sector within the UK and Europe . They are at the forefront of innovation using cutting edge technology that provide their clients with a number of compelling media propositions designed to place their customers brand at the forefront of their audiences mind. Their innovative advertising tools are a favourite with Agencies, Blue Chips and the Public sector clients throughout the UK . They already have an enviable client list that includes some of the world's largest brand names. Their clients cover areas including leisure, lifestyle, fashion, leisure, shopping, entertainment, education, property, financial, travel, business and careers. The Role Due to investment and expansion they currently require an Advertising Agency Account Manager based in Scotland to sell their unique range of media solutions to advertising agencies throughout Glasgow . Working within their sales team, this key role will involve generating significant levels of revenue from a mix of specialist and generalist media agencies and direct clients. You will be responsible for developing and nurturing established and new relationships with a number of key decision makers and specialist buyers. This will involve listening to briefs, establishing campaign criteria and putting together innovative and creative bespoke campaigns that meet client objectives while maximising client expenditure. You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information through a powerful media based solution. The Candidate Ideally you will have experience of selling advertising to Agencies and looking for the opportunity to move into a Senior Media Sales role within a high profile global media brand. Alternatively you will require a minimum of 1 years experience selling advertising space in any medium in a field sales environment (i.e. radio, newspapers, magazines, outdoor, television, etc). You will have a strong understanding of the media, coupled with creativity, drive, motivation and passion to develop business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
