Our Client

Our client is one of the UK’s biggest media operations with an exceptional reputation for a range of innovative market leading media platforms. As one of the largest media operations in Scotland their instantly recognisable high profile household brands cover a range of local and national advertising platforms including websites, digital, print and events solutions. They currently require an Advertising Field Sales Executive to sell a range of advertising opportunities to customers in the area of Ayrshire.



The Role

Based in Ayrshire in the field you will be responsible for selling a full range of advertising solutions to direct customers. The role will involve identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities as well as managing a range of existing customers across a range of sectors. Sectors could include retail, Health and beauty, home improvements, entertainment and travel.  You will be responsible for telemarketing and cold calling to generate appointments, thereafter, selling face to face to key decision makers presenting bespoke creative presentations to a range of customers. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers with a number of their larger clients, ensuring that the relationship is nurtured and grown. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information, marketing support and sales leads. You will be responsible for maintaining an understanding of your market and competitor products.


The Candidate

To apply you will require either tele or field advertising sales experience from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, directories, digital etc). You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts. You will be an articulate self-starter with a proactive and creative approach. You will have the ability to negotiate deals and strive to continue this local market leading brand’s impressive success.


The Package

In return you will be given the rarely available opportunity to work in a team orientated environment for a leading media organisation on quality media brands. Basic salary to £24K + uncapped bonus (On target bonus £10,800) + company car + 25 days holiday plus bank holidays + laptop + phone + other benefits associated with a leading media player
