Our Client

Our client is a leading National media company and household brand with an exceptional reputation for a range of innovative market leading media platforms. As one of the largest media operations in Scotland their instantly recognisable high profile household brand covers a range of high impact advertising platforms including publishing, digital media and events. They currently require an Advertising Field Sales Executives based in Glasgow to sell advertising throughout of Glasgow and West of Scotland on their key household named brands.

The Role

You will be responsible for selling a full range of advertising solutions to direct customers. The role will involve identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities as well as managing a range of existing customers across a range of sectors. Sectors could include retail, travel, entertainment, property ect.  You will be responsible for sourcing leads, telemarketing, thereafter, selling to key decision makers over the phone and face to face. You will be presenting bespoke creative presentations to a range of customers. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers with a number of their larger clients, ensuring that the relationship is nurtured and grown. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information, marketing support and sales leads. You will be responsible for maintaining an understanding of your market and competitor products.

The Candidate

To apply you will require advertising sales experience from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, directories, digital etc). You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts. You will be an articulate self-starter with a proactive and creative approach. You will have the ability to negotiate deals and strive to continue this leading brand’s impressive success

The Package

Basic to £28000 (depending upon experience) + bonus (On target bonus £9000 + uncapped overage) + Car allowance + benefits
