Our client is an award winning leading publisher with a strong track record in successfully launching a range of well researched attractive and highly respected glossy consumer magazine titles, events and associated websites. They currently require Advertising Sales Executives to sell advertising opportunities on a range of indispensable Tourism guides and associated supplements. Their products provide readers with a range of informed mix of current and hot editorial features, interviews, reviews, articles, facts and figures covering a range of subject areas. Their customers include a range of high profile international, national and local brand names.
After an initial intensive training program introducing you to their product portfolio, brand values and business approach you will be placed in a front-line sales role. You will be responsible for generating new business and managing existing accounts within their high-profile titles. This role will involve dealing with a mix of customers across the associated subject matters. You will be responsible for cold call telemarketing to generate new accounts, while developing and maintaining relationships with their growing client base. You will be negotiating and presenting bespoke advertising solutions to key decision makers over the phone. You will be working to targets and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
To apply you will ideally require a minimum of 6 months’ experience selling any form of advertising space (ie. newspaper, magazines, radio, directory, etc). You will be naturally enthusiastic with creativity, drive and motivation to develop business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
