Our client is a market leading National Media Company and part of a Global Media giant. A household brand with an exceptional reputation for a range of innovative market leading media platforms. As one of the largest media operations in the UK their instantly recognisable high profile household brands covers a range of high impact advertising platforms including publishing and digital media. They provide customers from SMEs to PLCs and Advertising Agencies with creative media solutions and opportunities across a range of innovative print and web based platforms. They currently require a Telesales Executive based in their Glasgow office.

The Role

Based from Glasgow you will be responsible for selling a full range of print and online advertising solutions to direct customers across a range of sectors. Sectors could include Travel, Retail, Entertainment, Leisure, property or business sector. The role will involve identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities as well as managing a range of existing key customers.  You will be responsible for sourcing leads and cold call telemarketing identified decision makers. You will be selling creative media opportunities over the phone to decision makers presenting bespoke presentations to a range of customers. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers with a number of their larger clients, ensuring that the relationship is nurtured and grown. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information, marketing support and sales leads. You will be responsible for maintaining an understanding of your market and competitor products.

 

The Candidate

You will have a solid track record of new business advertising sales from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, etc). You will be an articulate self-starter with a proactive and creative approach with the ability to negotiate deals and strive to continue this market leading brand’s impressive success.
