They operate in an expanding market and due to a recent large business win are expanding with the opening of a sales office in Glasgow.

  

The Role

As a Graduate Trainee Advertising Sales Executive you will be responsible for contacting businesses from a database of leads. Your objective will be to identify the decision maker, qualify leads and make sales appointments for the Sales team. Sectors could include B2B and B2C sectors (Food & Drink, Finance, Leisure, Travel, Property, Retail, Entertainment and Motors).

Responsibilities

  • Cold call telemarketing
  • Fact finding with customer to establish their needs
  • Generation of new business opportunities
  • Achieving the key performance indicators (KPI’s), set targets and deadlines
  • Providing a weekly prospect sheet and monthly reports
  • Setting up appointments for Media Sales Team
  • Handling Customer queries and maintaining a high standard of customer care
  • Keeping internal CRM System) p to date
  • Handle all incoming enquiries in an efficient manner and convert to appointments
  • Administrative support to account managers
  • Identifying key contacts within companies and gathering data from a number of sources.
  • Sending emails to prospective customers
  • Liaising and working closely with the Media Sales team

The Candidate

To apply for this role, you will be degree qualified (any discipline) with a desire to pursue a career in a sales focussed environment.

Ideally you will have experience of making outbound sales calls in a targeted environment and will be looking to pursue a career in the media sales sector. You will be target driven with a professional and articulate manner necessary to deal with high-level prestigious clients from Blue Chips to SMEs.

You will be commercially aware, motivated and naturally enthusiastic with tenacity and ambition and be able to demonstrate that you have a competitive edge. You will be PC literate, creative, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop relationships. You will be have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.
