The Client
- A young independent space sourcing agency
- They provide their blue chip, SME clients and brands with expert advice, knowledge and contacts on independently sourced high-quality sales, marketing and promotional space across the UK.
- Venues can include shopping centres, garden centres, city centres, train stations, retail parks, festivals, airports, exhibitions and events throughout the UK.
- These are independently sourced controlled environments where their brand product or service is placed directly in front of their potential target customer audience.
- They develop strategic marketing plans with their clients to ensure results.
- This is an innovative organisation who are increasing the size of their team due to growth and success.
The Role
- To sell their unique range of marketing/ promotional & media space
- Customers will be a mix of global brands, retailers, SME’s, PR firms, local businesses and independent promoters.
- Dealing with a mix of new and existing customers.
- You will source leads and have access to an existing database from which you will contact key decision makers to present their solutions.
- Role will involve taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to generate business.
- Understand client requirements at both a strategic and a tactical level to be able to offer the best business solutions.
- Once on board you will manage their campaign, nurture and provide great customer service, making them want to grow their business with you.
- This will involve working a relaxed, fast paced environment to deadlines and revenue targets.
- You will have the support of case studies, metrics and marketing information
The Candidate
- Ideally you will have experience of exhibitions, events or shopping centre space
- Consideration will also be given to candidates with a successful track record selling of sales from any media sector (i.e radio, outdoor, magazines, online, newspapers, etc)

- Able to put across a strong sales argument with excellent presentation skills,
- Creative, articulate, proactive and quick thinking with the ability to develop relationships.
- You will have a good understanding of media buying and campaign planning.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to negotiate at all levels of business.
