A hybrid role based in the field, from home and an office in Greenock.

The Role
You will be responsible for selling a range of media and marketing opportunities to business customers.
The role will involve
- Identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities and appointments.
- Sourcing potential customers, developing leads by cold call telemarketing.
- Managing a range of existing customers including large and medium size businesses.
- Liaising and negotiating with key decision makers both over the phone and face to face as required.
- Sectors will include Entertainment, Arts and leisure, Business, Health & Beauty, Food & drink, Property and homes, Retail and Travel.
- Partnering with their field-based team
- Maintaining an understanding of your sector, market conditions and competitor products.
- Taking a consultative approach to the sales process and presenting their product offering.
- Selling bespoke opportunities to customers and developing commercial partnerships.
- Managing advertising campaigns and guaranteeing the best results for customers and client satisfaction.
- Working to targets and deadlines
You will have the support and back up of strong case studies, metrics and marketing information.
The Candidate
- Ideally you will be an experienced media / advertising sales executive from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, directory, etc).
- Alternatively you will require sales experience from any sales based environment or a background in recruitment consultancy.
- Experience of selling products such as office furniture, office supplies, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Interest in and a knowledge of digital marketing and advertising would also be of advantage.
