The Company

Our client is an award winning prestigious National publisher with a range of cutting edge media tools including press, magazines, online and events. They currently require an Advertising Sales Executives to sell online and print advertising space and packages on a range of specialist business to business magazines, websites and special products.

 The Role

Based from Edinburgh you will be responsible for sales of print and online advertising to a range of new and existing customer accounts.  Your role will involve liaising and negotiating with senior key decision makers within a range of customers. You will be responsible for maintaining and understanding your sector, market conditions and competitor products. You will be responsible for sourcing potential customers, developing leads by telemarketing and presenting creative media solutions. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers ensuring that the relationship is nurtured and grown. You will be responsible for the development of these commercial partnerships. This involves managing and nurturing developed business accounts and ensuring optimisation of revenue streams. Working to targets you will ensure your activity is implemented efficiently, managing advertising campaigns and guaranteeing the best results for customers and client satisfaction. Working to targets and deadlines will have the support and back up of, metrics and marketing information.

 The Candidate

Ideally you will have a minimum of 6months experience in advertising sales (any medium ie. newspaper, radio, directory, etc) and looking for a new challenge.You will require a strong interest in the business world. You will have a strong understanding of the media and marketing departments, coupled with drive, motivation and passion to develop new business in a competitive market. You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate at all levels.

Alternatively you will have strong experience and a demonstrable track record of success of new business telesales from any sales sector such as data leads, office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services, mobiles or recruitment coupled with a desire to pursue a career in Media sales
