Our client is one of the UK’s key media players, an award-winning household name with a growing portfolio of instantly recognizable media brands. Their products cover a range of national and regional media products across Print, digital and broadcast media. They are responsible for some of the UK’s most iconic media brands. Customers from SMEs to PLCs receive innovative advertising solutions that increase their sales, providing marketing and information.
Due to continued growth through high profile investments and acquisition they currently require an Advertising Telesales Executive in their Inverness office. You will be selling advertising solutions on a range of consumer based media products which includes online and print titles. The client has a strong distribution via a network of leading supermarkets, newsagents and a strong subscription based readership.
Selling online and print advertising opportunities to direct clients. Identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities as well as managing a range of existing customers including large and medium size businesses. You will be cold and warm calling, selling and creating bespoke media packages. Your role will involve building and maintaining relationships with key decision makers with a number of their larger clients. You will ensure that the relationship is nurtured and grown. Working to targets and deadlines you will have the support and back up of case studies, metrics and marketing information, marketing support and sales leads.
To apply you will require advertising sales experience from any media sector (i.e outdoor, online, radio, newspaper, magazine, directories, digital etc).
Alternatively you will have strong experience and a demonstrable track record of success of new business telesales from any sales sector such as data leads, office furniture, office supplies, franking machines, IT equipment, IT products, training, telecoms, financial products, digital print services, mobiles or recruitment coupled with a desire to pursue a career in Media sales.
You will have a solid track record of developing new business and managing existing accounts. You will be an articulate self-starter who is target driven, proactive and haves a creative approach to selling solutions. You will have the ability to negotiate deals and strive to continue this organisations success.
