A rarely available opportunity for a driven Radio Advertising Sales Manager to work for Guernsey’s favourite radio station.

  • They are now looking for a Radio Advertising Sales Manager to head up and manage their commercial radio sales team of Account Managers.

The Role

  • Leading from the front with a team based revenue target and a personal revenue target.
  • You and your team will be selling across the portfolio (airtime and digital) to a mix of new and existing customers.
  • Delivering inspirational sales management.
  • Leading, managing, coaching, training and developing the team.
  • Monitor, identify and address team and individual performance.
  • Observation of sales call sessions, running sales meetings and regular performance reviews.
  • Maximising revenue and growth of the business to meet and exceed the company targets and objectives.
  • Deliver the best commercial terms for the business and in turn the best outcomes for your partners.
  • Development of all local revenue streams.
  • Achieve local revenue targets and report, analyse and forecast revenue.
  • Identifying new revenue opportunities.
  • Developing overall sales strategy.
  • Constantly devise innovative and bespoke methods for increasing all streams of revenue.

The Candidate 

To apply for this role you will require experience of selling radio advertising.

Ideally you will have experience of sales management although consideration will also be given to high performing radio advertising sales personnel looking for a step into sales management.

You will have

  • Strong Radio Advertising Sales experience.
  • In-depth understanding and a passion for the advertising ecosystem.
  • Excellent understanding of full sales-cycle, from lead sourcing to closing.
  • An ability to lead and inspire sales teams.
  • Excellent influencing, communication, motivation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Demonstrable evidence of   successfully delivered sales success to a business.
  • An eye for customer service.
  • Passion for radio advertising.
  • You will have a good understanding of media buying and campaign planning.
  • Naturally creative and full of ideas.
  • Strong working knowledge of Aquira and MS Office Suite
